“Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.”
—Saint Francis de Sales

This week, I made a promise to myself to slow down and do things more mindfully, consciously and deliberately.
Before I tell you more about this promise, I just want to say that I'm completely blown away by the mail I received last week in response to announcing my return to the jewelry industry and my part-time job.
It seems that being honest with you about my stepping outside my comfort zone and the subsequent anxiety I felt ...really struck a chord with many of you.
I'm so grateful for those who reached out to me with kind words of support.
It shows me that we ARE ALL HUMAN and we are not really alone.
Our society has taught us (especially women) that it is a sign of weakness to show vulnerability, to ask for help, and that we should just "suck it up" and move on.
But that is really a disconnect from our true needs and feelings and prevents us from experience the fullness of life.
But, I believe we can change all that-
✔by speaking up when things are not right,
✔by pulling our energy from situations or people,
✔by listening to our bodies
✔by naming the feeling
✔by saying "NO"
✔by trusting ourselves
✔by honoring our own needs
✔by making choices out of LOVE (not fear)
✔by fully accepting ourselves
✔by practicing radical self-care

As to the promise I made to myself to slow down, to move mindfully and to do things more consciously and deliberately--
so far, I feel calmer and more peaceful;
and tapped into my inner-self as often as I can.
It's a practice for sure; but well worth it.
Oh, and LOVE my new job so far-
SO GRATEFUL for you!!
Have a great week filled with LOVE, PEACE, JOY
