Does this sound familiar?

đź’Ą"Meditation is HARD!"
đź’Ą"I've tried it before, but couldn't turn off my brain."
đź’Ą"I don't have the time to sit."
đź’Ą I'll start meditation when life calms down (hahaha)
Sometimes in life we just can’t ignore the obvious anymore.
Sometimes, we just have to look at the truth about what is possible in helping, healing and changing our lives for the better.
but here's the TRUTH:
Even when we know something is good for us, we tend to put it to the side until something inspires us to make positive changes.
My many years of helping people to live more fully from their heart has brought me to this conclusion:

đź’ŽMeditation IS good for you!đź’Ž
Here are 7 Reasons Why

1) Reduces Stress
2) Allows You to Focus on What’s Most Important
3) Helps Build Better Relationships
4) Boosts Your Immune System
5) Improves Brain Health
6) Helps You to Be Kinder to Yourself
7) Reduces or Eradicates Depression

If you can sit and practice for at least 10 minutes daily- by simply being aware and observing-without judging the process you will find it becomes easier to practice over time.
In the book, “Letting Everything Become Your Teacher” by Jon Kabat-Zinn, the chapter on “Re-Minding” says it all.
“Given all the momentum behind our doing, getting ourselves to remember the preciousness of the present moment seems to require somewhat unusual and even drastic steps."
This is why we make a special time each day for formal meditation practice. It is a way of stopping, a way of “re-minding” ourselves, of nourishing the domain of being for a change. It’s a way of “re-bodying” too.
As I share with my coaching clients, the most important thing is NOT about emptying the mind and having no thoughts.
The most important key to remember in the meditation practice is how you treat yourself when thoughts come up. In other words, be aware of your thoughts, but don’t judge yourself for having them.
Remember,
I can't give you inner peace, but I CAN help you find it within yourself.
Have a great week!
love, cathie
