As I have said many times, this is a time of awakening and we can not go back to sleep. It will take all of us to rout out injustice within ourselves, our own personal bias so we can begin to bring about much needed change in our world.
While this can be an uncomfortable conversation to have, it is imperative that we awaken to the possibilities of bringing in a better future- and that means for ALL of us. We stand United in our fight to end racial injustice. We believe that the well being of the individual is tied to the well being of the whole human organism.
These are extraordinary times for sure- and we can each do our part to speak up and speak out. As we shine more light, more of the darkness is being uncovered.
I don't pretend to have the answers, I can keep my focus on compassion- and to simply be the witness to the change. But, even more than being the witness; I commit myself and my business to playing a part in the healing of the world.
As we continue to watch the unfolding of these unprecedented events; I urge you to take time to listen, to educate yourself and put your dollars to work for positive change.
There is much work to be done- let us each do our part to move forward with caring, compassion and collaboration.
Stand with me now against Hate- I stand with you now at the Threshold... FOR JUSTICE..
