"I AM a work in progress...as long as I work on myself, I will progress!" ~cathie
Passion can be a tricky thing, eh?
One minute we're all excited about a project and just thinking about it makes us come alive with possibilities! We're all jazzed and for a moment; all of our fears disappear or take a back seat. We feel the pulsing through our body and we feel unstoppable.
Know that feeling?

We're so giddy that we are going to make a big change in our lives and finally live that dream! We know it will be challenging, but when we're in that passion state; we know that we can handle anything that comes up. Right?
Next; we're still sooooo excited; that we share our big idea with a family member, a partner, a good friend........ then what happens?
They let the wind out of our sails, by being negative, critical all in the guise of the "I'm concerned about you" or "How are you ever going to make a living doing that? or the ever popular, "You never finish anything you start"
And, there you have it. You trudge back to your room, deflated, dejected and discouraged.
We all have friends, family, partners like that!
Here's a bit of advice that I found to be very helpful:
When you begin the process of moving toward your dreams~ stay protective. Don't share your larger plan with anyone just yet. Keep it close to the vest. Eventually, you will need to get support; but choose carefully who is going to be privy to your heart.
People mean well, but when they begin to inject their doubts and fears into your dreams; it's time to disengage. Find the right and healthy support system for you (either a trusted friend who believes in you, a support group, or a life coach who can help you create a plan)
Decide from this moment on that everything you do, say or decide is dedicated to living your highest purpose. That means that all your choices will be made from L O V E not fear.
Take some time and get curious about your deeper needs and desires, they're not always what you think.
Keep going and reach for your DREAMS!
