Let these words soothe you like a balm upon the soul. Float gently in a sea of love. Feel the waves of truth surround you like a blanket and warm embrace. Draw your attention gently inward and feel the beating of your heart. Let yourself be soothed by the knowledge that all is healed- in this life and in the higher dimensions. Allow this knowledge to permeate your entire being. Relax fully in this state of higher awareness and carry it with you in all of your daily activities.
Do you feel the push/pull of this life? Do you feel forever in the midst of trying to balance everything? Do you constantly feel as though you “ought” to do things and try to choose between that feeling and with what you “want” to do?
Are you a person who is always striving to improve yourself, excel in your chosen career, do all your errands and keep up with “life?” And, in all that “keeping up” , do you feel dissatisfied and a sense of struggle of trying to do it all?
How often do you take the time for yourself? How often do you honor your need to just slow down? Can you be so in touch with your body that you know when you just need to rest?
Today, we will honor ourselves. Right now in this moment. We will honor all that we have and all that we are. We will get to know our hearts in a loving and gentle way – so that are needs are heard, felt and acknowledged.
We will feel the loving embrace of our divine wisdom – enveloping us with the knowledge that all is healed. Within and without. Cherish all that lies before you and bring your full awareness into the present moment. Continue to move forward on this path of self-knowledge and give gratitude from the places deep within your heart.
Soften your life, soothe your spirit- gain a sense of peace within your everyday activities. View your life through the eyes of your heart and know that you truly can change your interactions! Get to know your heart. What it wants, what truly fills it, and what nourishes it. Transform your own love for yourself- and begin with balm for your soul. Go into your life and offer it the blessings and commitment that it needs from you. And, live your life from the place of the Gentle Heart.

A recent talk at a local library-(see picture) led me to a fascinating discovery:
Humans are an interesting bunch.
Most of us spend many hours, many days and many years in thinking mode.
We think of what has happened to us, or what will happen.
The human brain ruminates, plots, plans, worries, and dreams up many “what if” scenarios.
Wouldn’t you like to get to a point where you are running the show of what your brain thinks about?
What if you were able to take a big step back from the mind chatter and to sort out what is important and what is distraction? How would you feel about being able to make decisions from a clear and calm center?
What a ride 2018 has been.
I don't know about you, but for me personally- it was one helluva _________ (insert your own imaginative word here)
Do you remember that carnival ride- the one that you sat strapped in- it flung you around, up and down and spun you around? I think it was called a "Tilt-A-Whirl"
That's what 2018 felt like for me.
